Hello Everybody!
As you may notice, this is my first post of the year, I have been extremely busy with my University classes and this semester I couldn't find a proper time to post all the projects and ideas I have had in mind for a very long time. I planned to start blogging again in the middle of May, when my hectic schedule was finally more easygoing with me. This plan is still up, so this is a one-time post for now given the circumstances of need in the world at the moment.
Today I would like to remind you about the tragedy
that happened last Saturday in Nepal. The magnitude of the earthquake has left
thousands of deaths, damaged homes; it is all chaos at the moment. Today is the
moment to take the matter into our own hands and help those in need. We are all
humans, all brothers and sisters, we NEED to help. One of my favorite Fashion
Designers, Prabal Gurung has launched an appeal to help those affected by the
earthquake, you can go to the website and help with $5 or $500, whatever you
can will go towards these people in urgent need.
You can go to www.crowdrise.com/nepalearthquakefund (the link is in his bio) to help Prabal reach his $500,000 dollars goal. You can also donate at the UNICEF webpage, www.unicefusa.org/donate/nepal-earthquake-help-children-now/24226 or you can volunteer to help!
Project HOPE is recruiting volunteers to go to Kathmandu, Nepal, you can go to their website www.projecthope.csos.com/ats/careersite/jobdetails.aspx?id=105 to check their requirements.
Please don't throw this to the "Later" bin; there are thousands of people that could use our help! If you are not able to donate any money for any circumstances you can help by spreading the word, you can this blogpost or any other posts, tweets, etcetera; and these links to help will be able to reach millions of people!!
