MY FAVORITES FROM LFW♥

It is not a secret that the British are taking over the world… Almost everything I love is from the legendary UK! From the Beatles, to One Direction, Harry Potter and Doctor Who! (Yes, I love them all and I don’t even regret it.) Still, the one thing that I love and enjoy the most from there is obviously the Fashion. (Actually, again, the picture at the top is from the amazing illustrator Megan Hess. Its lovely I know… and you can purchase her illustrations in her webpage! Just click over the name and it will take you there ;]).
Every single show at the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 was mind-blowing, every look was better than the next! Even though it is mostly about the clothes, the makeup and hair were on point in every show so, A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO ALL OF THE FABULOUS DESIGNERS THAT PRESENTED AT LFW!!
This past few days it was definitely hell deciding who were my favorites, but after delivering for a very long time with myself… here they are!

Firstly I need to talk to you about Jean-Pierre Braganza. This designer was born in London, raised in Canada, graduated from Central Saint Martins, and at LFW he was just FABULOUS! I don’t know if I have said it before, if I did I am going to say it again; I am a sucker for black and white combinations in outfits! The looks from this collection were really laid-back but edgy at the same time; I fell in love with the applications on the shoulders in the 2nd look in the picture below. Also, the prints in the garments, which were a mix of black, white, and gray, are fabulous! I seriously need every look from the runway!

The next runway I must talk about is Emilia Wickstead’s! Her SS15 Collection was tremendously elegant, but the fabric she worked with added a beautiful extra touch of sophistication. The hair and makeup also were kept minimal, which made every look perfect, very fresh, modern, and stylish… JUST EXQUISITE!

It is essential to talk about Christopher Bailey’s work for Burberry. The Spring/Summer looks consisted in very romantic designs. He used beautiful shades of colors from green to blue and pink, but he added a touch of edginess and fun with the amazing jackets you can see in the picture below. The runway was a fantastic exposition of art and the pieces are a must for next season!

Now, what can we say about Tom Ford other than he rocks! His Spring/Summer Collection was all about being glamorous and daring. Every look had a touch of bling, and well…. There was LOTS of black! You can tell I was dying every time I saw the runway show (Yes, I had it on repeat for like 2 hours straight). So, as always, Tom Ford gave us a fantastic collection to talk about and to remember forever.

Lastly, I want to talk about Lucas Nascimento. What this designer did for next Spring/Summer season was remarkable! All the looks are so fresh, very bold and clean cut, very simple but also very sophisticated. I know those are way too many adjectives, but it is literally what the SS15 pieces are, and you can see it for yourself with the picture underneath! Loved every single bit of the Lucas Nascimento show… and I know you did too!

So, this is it. My list of favorites has come to an end, and if you did not read my last post on My Favorites from NYFW, which you should totally read, I will remind you that by clicking the name of the brand/designer you will be redirected to a webpage where you will be able to watch the full collection and decide which looks are YOUR favorites!

I will see you again very soon! Be sure to get O’ Sole Mio going while you are eating some gelato because Milan Fashion Week is coming next!!

Big LOVE and lots of BLESSINGS!!.xx
