MY FAVORITES FROM NYFW♥

It is hard to come to terms that September, one of the best months for fashion, is over. (Insert emoji crying in despair here).
It all started in the City that Never Sleeps... aka New York City (btw, the beautiful image at the top is from the ilustrator Megan Hess and available to purchase!). From September 4 to September 12 New York City was flooded with fashion lovers from all over the world in an amazing showcase of fashion, art, structure, and beauty. Every single day there were at least 20 amazing designers presenting their Spring/Summer 2015 Collections; and they were all brilliant, but there were a few that literally made me fall in love. On this blogpost you will see which designers and looks where my favorites this season, which are also on my Instagram, and you will find the links to watch all the runway shows ;)... so LET'S GET STARTED!!

First of all we need to talk about these beautiful Carolina Herrera looks! She is always giving us true elegance, sophistication and grace. Her love for fashion is always transmitted to us with her nobby collections, and this time it is more than obvious that she didn't let us down!

In this picture we are able to see two of my favorite looks from the Dennis Basso Collection; loved the combination of grey and yellow as well as the romance the collection emitted!

This was my favorite look from ZangToi's Collection, a designer that I love and admire dearly! It was his 25th Anniversary so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MASTER TOI!!♥ I loved every look, the detail in them all, I love how he puts so much attention into the details that even the inside of the garments have embroidery, color, or different textures... it is completely fabulous!!

On the other hand, Michael Kors had me sighing with his completely! I adored the flowers and the color palette was extremely fresh and jovial, these pieces along with the rest of the collection are a MUST-HAVE for next year's Spring/Summer season!

This piece from the Del Pozo Collection clearly shows us that the see through fabrics in light colors and flowers are going to be a must next year! Love how designer Josep Font presented pieces that look laidback, but don't look lazy, they actually would make quite a few heads turn around!

These pieces belong to the Monique Lhuillier Collection; she has been one of my inspirations and one of my favorite designers for quite a very long time, she always present lovely, elegant pieces and this time it was not the exception. The fabrics look very sophisticated but young at the same time because of the color in them; again, we are able to spot the see through situation that is very sexy but glamourous.

Endlessly beautiful, Oscar de laRenta, a Master in design presented us gracefulness, poise, and class, as he always has and always will, in this new collection. There are simply no words to describe this looks, they are simply so sweet and pretty, with very fresh colors, looking at them you can feel the spring irradiating from them, as it should be.

Here, we can see how ErinFetherston gave us very fresh looking garments filled with detail and embroidery. The colors too are sweet and fresh; the structure of the garments is very flattering to the female figure, enhancing in the best way the best features of a woman’s body making it look delicate and gracious.

I fell in love with every single piece of the former Project Runway participant Michael Costello. Every single look had me in awe, the colors, the shapes, the fabrics, the headpieces.... but with the look you can see in this picture, I swear I sighed when I saw it! It is just such an elegant piece!! The structure and the material are absolutely magnificent and literally, every time I see this picture again I fall in love more and more with it, and well... with Michael too!!

So lovely people, thank you very much for taking your time in reading this long post! I hope you liked the pieces in the pictures as much as I did!! You can watch the full collections in either pictures or videos when clicking in the name of the brand or designer; I assure you that watching them all will be more than worth it! You probably will be watching it like 10 times just like I did!!

Stay tuned because very very.... and I mean VERY SOON the next blogpost will be coming up, and so are the British!!

Big LOVE and lots of BLESSINGS!!.xx
